Selectable at either 80Hz or 160Hz, these two filters help eliminate low-frequency rumble or footfall noise, as well as help compensate for excessive bass (proximity effect) with close-mic techniques.

As with all of sE's true condensers, the sE8’s gold-sputtered capsule is handcrafted and hand-tuned by skilled technicians in our own factory. This is highly unusual for mics at this price, and is a great point of pride for us.
Building and tuning a capsule is a subtle, artistic process, and given the scale of the vibrations which they must perceive, this is the most vital element of the mic.

Shipping --Items are well packed and shipped USPS, FEDEX and UPS. Items purchased on Friday may not ship till monday. We want to get your item out as fast as we can. Â
Returns/Refunds- If there is truly a manufacturing defect a return tag will be provided, otherwise customer pays for return shipping costs. Refunds are for the product price only and will be less all shipping charges and 15% restocking fee if the item was delivered with no defects.
If the item was listed as free shipping then the cost of the shipment will be deducted. Gear returned with out all its original packaging, warranty cards and accessories or that shows signs of wear from use, will be subject to an additional restocking fee. This item is now used and it would be unfair to resell to another customer as new.Â
