Galaxy Audio’s extremely versatile 57-inch Carbon Boom Microphone is an aesthetically sleek miking system for choirs, presentations, orchestras, ensembles, plays, drum overheads, and ambient instrument / audience miking. The CBM-324 includes three easy-replace interchangeable mic elements: Omni, Cardioid, and Super Cardioid. Simply change the mic element for use in multiple performance applications. Galaxy Audio’s condenser elements offer transparent, smooth, articulate sound reproduction. The cardioid polar pattern is a popular choice because they are sensitive enough to capture the voices of up to 20 singers per microphone. In addition the mic end has a 2.5 inch flexible gooseneck so you can point the mic exactly where you need it.
The flexible light weight carbon boom makes remote miking easy. The included mini XLR to XLR cable has a recessed 10dB pad and 80Hz Low Frequency Roll Off Switch.
The CBM offers more flexibility and ease of use than permanently installed hanging choir mics, where mic positioning may change over time due to a relaxing cable or air currents from ventilation systems.
