Today's Spotlight and Tech talk feature a company that is providing a real impact on young actors and sound industry personnel. Plus the Yamaha DM7 Console Mixer and RIO 3224 Analog Rack Unit. Two major heavy hitters in the live concert and Theater industry.

Both of these Yamaha units feature the Dante system for a very flexible application that connects directly to digital audio networks through ethernet, allowing flexible system configuration.

We are happy to announce that The I'm Ready Foundation will be getting these two big units as an upgrade to their rental arsenal to provide pro high-level equipment to touring sound companies that need a dual bay120 channel digital mixer.

The I'm Ready Foundation is operated by American Film Producer and author Je'Caryous Johnson. They provide a variety of services in the industry including, theatre performances, acting classes, equipment rental, and live productions like "Super Freak" the Rick James story coming to theatres across the country.

One of those stops is at historic Shea's Buffalo Theatre, in the hometown of Rick James in western NY. Plus 30 more shows starting in March of this year through June. Shea's is a beautiful old theatre that has hosted legendary performances from many artists and performers from Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra to Bob Dylan and Merle Haggard. Plus newer indie artists like Amos Lee and David Copperfield.

Yamaha's top-of-the-line Rivage PM series console delivers a warm, vintage-tinged analog sound, its user experience is digital all the way. Boasting 3 touchscreens and easy to use interface.
